These are the results of an investigation into “Child Grooming” (Child Rape and Molestation) in the UK.
17 Cases were investigated between the years of: November 1997 – July 2013.
These results were provided by Andrew Norfolk who was awarded the Orwell Prize for Journalism for his reporting on grooming gangs.
He was the only journalist who provided expert testimony to the House of Commons select committee, in their (2012-2013) investigation into the grooming gangs.
In organised gangs, men groomed girls they met on the street. Most of the offenders were of Pakistani origin and most of the victims were white
